Calf Creek Fall
The Grand Staircase of Utah extends from the northern edge of the Grand Canyon up to Bryce Canyon. The sediments become younger towards the northern end of the staircase. These formations are frequently notched to V-shapes by creeks transporting melt water from the Uintah mountains of northern Utah. The lower mossy part of the Calf Creek’s cascades falls into a picturesque lake.
