Stellar Cascade
The reflected sunlight sparkles like millions of stars on the surface of this lake. Only within the calm lee of the small island the surface of the lake is as smooth as a glass. The lake is located in a Norwegian fiord valley. As all fiords are drowned glacier valleys, they all end in the Atlantic Ocean. This was due to a sea level rise of about 100 m at the end of the last ice age.
